Emery Wang, J.D.
ATTORNEY

Emery spent the first half of his career as a graphic artist. He received his art degree from the University of Minnesota in 1988, after which he moved to Texas and became the staff artist for the City of Austin Environmental Department. He also served in the Army National Guard for 6 years.

In 1996 he co-founded Havana Street, a retro clip art and design company. After 15 years as a freelance graphic designer, he moved to Portland to attend Lewis and Clark Law School. During law school, Emery worked as a Multnomah County District Attorney in the intake and misdemeanor departments.

Emery has been practicing personal injury law since 2009.

His activities include being president of Sunrise Toastmasters in Portland, running, and raising twins.
